Your customers i.e. Parents and Students use Parent Portal to place and order their lunch orders. As a Caterer or a School, you have a few options to control how the Parent Portal looks and behaves. Let's talk about those options, in this article. 

 

Branding 

To make your Parent portal look and feel like your own brand, go to Setup > Business Profile page. 

On this page, you can upload your own Business Logo, setup your contact information and also the theme color to be used by the Parent portal. 

 

Parent Portal Settings 

You can also chose to turn certain Parent Portal options on/ off by going to Setup > Parent Portal Settings page. Lets talk about various settings available on this page. 

Order Calendar Type 

               SchoolBitez ordering UI offers two modes of Calendar when parents/ students place their orders. This setting lets you                    control which calendar view will be offered as default view. 

                Note: Parent can also switch their preferred calendar view directly from the Ordering UI.

Allow Parent to set Child Allergen Information 

                      Use this setting to allow parents to personalize their ordering experience to warn them about items their child is allergic to. Once this setting is turned on, parents will see the option to set allergies for their child. 

 

 

Disable Automated Ordering 

                          Use this setting to control whether Parents can use automated ordering feature. 

                          Automated ordering allows Parents to setup favorites for each child and let SchoolBitez autofill the Order based on the child's favorites.
