You can change certain settings on a School, in terms of how the Ordering works for a specific School. 

Here are these settings: -

 

1) No Customer Payments required 

           You can setup a School to NOT require Payments for orders. You can further fine tune this setting to NOT require payments for only specific Item Types - for example, All Meals are free but Drinks and Snacks orders require Payment. 

To configure this, go to the specific School and then go to Advanced Options tab. 

Turn the toggle Orders to be invoiced to School option ON. 

Chose either All Item Types to be invoiced or specific Item Types only, to be invoiced to School.

You can also setup maximum orders that can be ordered for each day and each Item Type. 

 

Once you setup a School as Invoice to School, all orders for such School will be allowed to proceed without requiring a  payment

 

2) Menu Only School 

               If you are using the Publish Menu Directory option under your Portal Settings, you can setup a School as a Menu Only school. When you turn this option ON for a School, ordering is not available for such a School. 

 

Menu Only schools are not available when a Parent setup an ordering account for their child.
