If you are a Caterer or a Meal Providers, you most likely deal with multiple School accounts. Therefore as a global price setting, you can setup global prices for Meals that apply to all Schools. 

 

Go to Setup > System Setup to setup global price for Meals. 

 

 

Meal Portion Pricing 

                  If you sell different portion sizes for Lunch Meals, you can also setup price offsets (on top of the Base Meal price configured in System Setup). To set up Meal portion pricing, go to Items > Meal Portions. Edit the Meal portion you want to setup the price for, change the price and Save. 

The screenshot below shows that we have priced Large Portion sizes as additional 20 cents on top of the Base Meal Price. 

 

School Specific Pricing

You can then override Pricing at each School Level, if needed, by going to the Overrides section in the School Detail page of a School, as shown below. 

 

 

You can also override Prices for Meals at each Item Level, if desired, as shown below.


And as a last option, you can specify additional pricing offsets for different Portion Sizes when setting up different Portion Sizes for a Grade.
